i feel like crap. i blame it on pms. i was so tired last night that 3 seconds into lying down in bed, i fell asleep. and i was snoring at night too. heh...

i woke up early to move my car into the garage this morning and when i got back, i couldnt really fall asleep again. which is a good thing i suppose, since i have a phone interview at 11am. i dont want my interviewer to ring me and hear me croaking over the phone like a grumpy frog!

you know, all these interviews are driving me nuts. i wish they dont take so long and have less stages! i honestly cant wait until i land a job i would really enjoy...

anyway, i'm gonna go have some pick-me-up and have a coffee to wake up a little and get my brain going, else i'll sound like a useless blonde for my interview.

ps: will try to do a post about my australia trip soon!

we're connected at our new place! i am so totally loving our flat, but at the same time i miss the convenience of living at home! which reminds me, i have laundry that needs to be done this morning!

me and 2 other girls are flatting in a townhouse somewhere in parnell - i think all 3 of us get along quite well and it's good that we get to voice our opinions to each other. and it's good that all 3 of us have different working hours so we dont see each other at the same time EVERYDAY!

we'll be cooking our first meal at here tonight, now that i've cleaned out the whole kitchen and everything's good to be used. i had to clean the kitchen over a span of 3 days because everything looked rather grotty and the benches and floor was kinda icky. but i wouldn't mind eating off the bench now! lol

so that's me and my new flat - will throw a house warming soon, maybe in conjunction with my birthday or something..i'll send the invitations out once everything's confirmed!

as promised in the previous post, here are 2 photos of the flowers my darling gave me for our first month-niversary :) it's sitting happily on our kitchen bench and is still looking very healthy!

i wont be able to blog much from today onwards - i am internet-less at my new place! i moved out yesterday so we are yet to get internet up and running.

other than that.....i got flowers from someone special on friday! will post pics up when we have internet.

the weather is sweltering hot and i'm still sweating even though i've had a COLD SHOWER and i'm sitting in front of the fan right now. imma steal someone's AC and install it in my room. nyehehe :D

at this time of the year, i cant wait for winter! i cant wait to wear my scarf and long coats and puffy jackets and gloves again! arrrr...ARRRRR! cant stand the heat >"<

got a call from Starbucks for the position I applied for about a week ago as a Barista/ Shift Supervisor. i am so not prepared for a a phone interview coz truth be told, i havent been preparing. this is the 2nd phone interview i did and i'm pretty sure i did badly from what my parents told me as they were with me at that time.

however, having said that, the guy interviewing me was pretty casual. he had broken english which was a little off-putting but it put me at ease at the same time...at the end, he asked if i was free for a walk-in interview, but i couldn't make it so he said he'll ring me up another day.

now i actually wonder if he will ring back...should've just said i'll go for the interview and ring in sick for work tomorrow! *sigh*

had another phone interview with flight centre travel money - the guy sounded so friendly and he made the interview so breezy! when he asked me questions, i didnt get all tongue-tied and i could actually think straight. usually when i get interviewed, i'll be nerve wrecked and screw up the whole thing by not thinking straight and speaking clearly. gonna wait for more calls or emails hopefully :)

the last time i blogged was a month ago!

what did i do in the last 1 month?
well, lots!

first of all, i bailed nz and hopped over to australia. spent about 10 days there with family, went 1 shade darker from being in the sun quite a bit, did lots of shopping and blasted about $1000 on shopping (no regrets!).

then we flew back to nz, and i was home for 4 days before i bailed auckland for taupo to spend new years. went down to taupo with RB and did some crazy things (what do you expect when you spend 5 days with a crazy girl? lol). we went bungy jumping (whee! would definitely do it again!!), white water rafting, kayaking, huka jets and clubbing on new year's eve. it was a good 5 day 'retreat', if that's what you want to call it. we both came back nice and refreshed and VERY tanned. it was awesome coz we ended our trip with a good 45 minutes body massage :D

then it was back to auckland again, and since then, it was been going out, hanging out with friends, occassional drinks, flat and job hunting which is driving me crazy, and work. and that's pretty much me in a nutshell of what i've been up to in the past month.
