TL: can you do me a fav, since you love me so much?! can you work 7 till 3.30 sat, sunday night from when you can and tuesday from when you can :-)
me: i should just quit uni and work full time eh?? i'll do sat 7-3.30, sun 2 till close and tuesday 5 till close. good enough?

am i brilliant or what? i'm almost always available when they're short of staff, and i'm always willing to help. but when TL said "you are brill. if i wasn't married" is JUST WRONG!! actually, i envy his family la. he's got 2 absolutely GORGEOUS kids and they're super-cute-can-die-dot-com and a very loving wife! so yeah, he should count himself lucky.

my TL must be one of the best person to work with. even though he's our team leader, he doesnt show that he's in control or anything, in face, he brings himself down to our level and do all the crappy things we have to do. in fact, he makes himself to crappier things than us (ie: scrubbing down the family changing rooms all by himself, and also cleaning up the toilets when one of them got stuck with poop and toilet paper). that is why i respect him...

and because of that, i do not mind returning him favours since he's been nothing but super nice to me - giving me the shifts that i ask for, and for being one that i can talk to without teasing me too much about it. more often than not, he offers excellent advise and seeing that he's only 24, i really respect him for his maturity and how his mind works - there's no doubt as to why he isn't our team leader :)

got this "drawing" of me from my team leader on bebo the other day...and it made me and my sisters laugh for so long, we ended up having tummy ache.


apparently, he was bored and so he decided to draw me something. so he drew a circle, then he didnt know what to draw....but somehow ended up drawing a face..then body and my shoes. notice how i have purple shoes? he said those are my purple croc shoes (but i usually wear my white ones to work)...

ain't it the cutest thing ever? yet the ugliest drawing of me ever?! my hair doesnt even look like that >< it looks like someone's intestines. so yeahhhh.......that's my team leader, who sits in the office pretending to be doing his work, but in actual fact, he's bebo-ing or drawing some lame pictures -.-"

what a stinky start to my day -.-"

had to sit beside this big fat obese lady in the free bus this morning, and she stank *holds nose*

everytime she moves, i gagged. bleargh >"<

woahhh....what a weekend it was!

the weekend's already coming to an end (so quick!!) and i haven't even had any time for myself... :(

saturday was spent working the day away. i worked form 7-3.30, then i stayed a while after work to keep team leader company while he was doing his work. had a good time talking and fooling around with him then i asked him about this photo of his with a little boy that i saw on bebo. and that definitely got him talking. he then asked for my email addy so he could look me up on bebo. but i said "nah. you dont need it. i'll send you a msg later" then i ciao-ed.

mucked around for a little when i was home, then helped mum to cut her layer cake that she made. she made it to bring them to church, and she also fried some noodles to bring as well. i said "MUM! SO MUCH FOOD! you can FEED the army!!" but boy, was i wrong! the people at church were HUNGRY HUNGRY people!

after doing all that, it was time to shower and get ready. did some last minute preparation before leaving for church - like looking for the props and etc. went to church...and well...talked, ate, sat, performed, sat, drove, ate, sat. that basically sums up the whole of saturday night.

sunday was spent going to church in the morning, then stayed back for ron's baptism, then i went to the doc, and jacques followed -.-" hahahaha he must've been super bored while waiting. then we left, he went home (i think..) and i went to highland park to get some food to bring to uni tomorrow. came home, got changed then i was out again, this time with my family.

mum decided to go for the lantern fest (only because daddy and i were really keen to go!) so dad drove us all there. managed to get a parking (lady luck was with ME!!) at len's secret parking spot. hahahhaha~ so we took a short walk up, and began our hunt for good food :"D saw so many people there - the first one being ben who stood about 2m away from the 'ka-pai mussels' stall, and stared at them. lol, he must've been thinking "mmmm...to buy, or not to buy..." so i popped by to say hi to him, then disappeared into the crowd to continue with our hunt for food.

bought my first item - taiwanese sausages. think we bought 4 in total, and mum bought some other stuff. then we saw stefan, paul and theresa, so we stopped to talk a while, stefan was talking to my parents and sisters and yaddayaddayadda, then we walked a few more steps, and we bumped into amos and friend. popped by a few more stalls, and we finally made our way to the umsa stall. bought like, $15 worth of fishballs (i had $5 worth :p) from the ocf gang, and i think mum spent about $16 at the umsa stall on satays and teh tarik (literally translated at "pulled tea"). and then we were full.

so we went to walk around the park, and during all that time, i had my chunky camera hung around my neck looking very tourist-y. heehhee. and i was snapping away at everything - the deco, the crowd, the people, the stalls, yaddayadda. i either looked tourist-y, or like an amateur photographer. *rofl*

but the lantern fest this year was quite good - well compared to the one i went to about 3 years ago, there's been some MAJOR improvements :)

and there goes my weekend! i haven't even caught up with my sleep. and i haven't even blogged about my birthday dinner. will post up some pics when i get the time.

i'm in uni again :p oooohhh surprise surprise *sarcasm*

class starts at 1pm today, and i came in at 11. smart arse :p but that's what i'll be doing for the whole semester, so hopefully i wont be lazy. the 2 hours is for me to well, do my notes and study and erm, go online like that i'm doing right now :p i'm trying to use all my breaks to do my notes so i will be updated with my notes throughout the semester...

....but it's only the end of the first week of uni. and i dont know if i can keep up with this for the whole semester, BUT, if i can, i will buy myself something :p like...a new laptop or something. since the current laptop that i have is like, SUPER DUPER SLOW -.-" i hardly touch my laptop now, unless when i have to *sigh*

random: i think i saw ryo (kenji's bro) today on the ferry. i've only met him once at the pool but he had a different hairstyle then. he had long-ish hair with blonde streaks, but when i saw him today, he had like, red hair with a fringe. but he is a hair stylist, so i'm not surprised if he changes he hairstyle every week or so. but yes, i'll ask kenji what is his bro's current hairstyle when i see him.

see the story with ryo goes something like that. one evening, i took my sisters for their hpk swimming and my team leader happened to be there. just before i left, he told me "oh wait! i have a card for you!!" i was thinking to myself "ooh, must be a card from one of the students i teach *beams*" but anyway, team leader came out and handed me a small-as card, and i read it. it says 'ryo blablabla' so i asked him what is it for.

TL: oh, ryo came in one day, and he told me to give it to you!
me: HUH? ME? i dont even know him! who's he?
TL: oh, he's kenji's bro and he's a hair stylist
me: erm, so?
TL: well, someone told him that there's a hot asian chick working as a life guard here. so it's either you or sophia!
me: emmm...i'm pretty sure it's sophia and not me. *cracks up*
TL: *cracks up* well, whatever. i've told sophia and here's your card. oh, and ryo's gonna come see you when you're on the late.
me: right.... *chucks card away*

HEHEHEHE. funny things that goes on at the pools eh. but which lifeguard can be hot, when they're wearing yucky ugly uniform and always sweaty? -.-" that person who told ryo that there's a hot asian chica must be blind or he was swimming without his contact lenses/ glasses :p

anyway, it's 12, so i better start back on my notes.
